While trying to live as normal a life as possible—she is married and owns an antique store—Melinda helps earthbound spirits resolve their problems and cross over into the light, or the spirit world.
Her tasks are difficult and at times she struggles with people who push her away and disbelieve her ability.
In addition, the ghosts are mysterious and sometimes menacing in the beginning and Melinda must use the clues available to her to understand the spirits' needs and help them.
So I just finished watching Ghost Whisperer. Or really re-watching I guess you could say. I've never seen every single episode and the ones I have seen I didn't see them consecutively. I really loved this show and I realize re-watching it that I still do. There's just something about it. I guess I really want to believe that there's something after this life. The show does start to go down hill in the last season. And the only reason I say that is because they could've done so much more with the Book of Changes and the Shadows and Shiney's thing. I really wish they would have done more with it. The series finale was so anticlimactic that it leaves you sitting there thinking "That was it!". I was really disappointed in that ending, but then again what can you do? I still say this series is definitely worth watching even if the ending is not that good. I love Jennifer Love Hewitt's acting in this show so much. She really made you feel for these spirits and their families. I'm pretty sure I cried in almost every episode lol. I would love to see them maybe do a movie or a spinoff possibly with Aiden and how is life is going. It might be interesting to see. Have any of you seen this show and if so what did you think of it?
