Dance with a Vampire Review

Overivew: There's a new vampire in town. His name is Valentine Maxwell. Goth-girl Raven knows this latest intruder can only mean trouble--he's the younger sibling of two vampires she fought to drive out of Dullsville. But when her brother, Billy, befriends this dangerous tween night prowler, the stakes are suddenly higher. Though torn by the excitement of every teen girl's fantasy--attending the prom with her boyfriend--Raven must do everything she can to protect Billy.

Valentine's appearance may pose even further threats. Could he somehow know Raven's innermost feelings about becoming immortal for her true love, Alexander?

My Thoughts: This is the fourth book in the Vampire Kisses series. I'm doing a re-read of this series since I recently acquired the last three in the series. I'm pleasantly surprised at how much I still like this series after all these years. I love Raven and Alexander. I still relate to them even though I'm not in high school anymore. This time around Raven is facing a vampire that can read her soul and what her soul has to say is definitely not something she wants Alexander to know. Although Alexander is keeping secrets of his own, but they both are trying to keep Valentine from hurting Billy. Hiding things is never any good when it comes to relationships. Raven and Alexander find this out first hand. Doubt wiggles its way into their relationship and causes Raven and Alexander to start arguing. Which is exactly what Valentine wants. These books are so delightful and in a way darkly whimsical way. If you have the chance to give these books a try please do.
