Overivew: There's a new vampire in town. His name is Valentine Maxwell. My Thoughts: This is the fourth book in the Vampire Kisses series. I'm doing a re-read of this series since I recently acquired the last three in the series. I'm pleasantly surprised at how much I still like this series after all these years. I love Raven and Alexander. I still relate to them even though I'm not in high school anymore. This time around Raven is facing a vampire that can read her soul and what her soul has to say is definitely not something she wants Alexander to know. Although Alexander is keeping secrets of his own, but they both are trying to keep Valentine from hurting Billy. Hiding things is never any good when it comes to relationships. Raven and Alexander find this out first hand. Doubt wiggles its way into their relationship and causes Raven and Alexander to start arguing. Which is exactly what Valentine wants. These books are so delightful and in a way darkly whimsical way. If you have the chance to give these books a try please do.
