The Coffin Club Review

Overview: When Raven returns to Hipsterville's cryptic goth haunt, the Coffin Club, she discovers a secret door to another disco-"The Dungeon"-that is inhabited by vampires only. Raven learns that the nefarious Jagger Maxwell has welcomed the vampire clan into the club and has gained the popularity he missed in Romania. He is poised to take over Hipsterville, until a new vampire named Phoenix challenges him for control of the Coffin Club. Unbeknownst to Alexander, Raven becomes caught up in the clash, entranced by the hypnotic vampire culture of the Underworld.

My Thoughts: This is the fifth book in the Vampire Kisses series. I'm doing a reread of this series because I finally got the last three books. Raven finally finds a place she fits in. Except its full of immortals. Summer's here and Raven can finally spend all of her time snuggled up to her true love in his coffin. Alexander has something he has to take care of first. In Hipsterville. In true Raven fashion she decides that she's going to follow her vampire love, and also spend some time with her aunt that lives in Hipsterville. But her plans change as she finds "The Dungeon" a club deep underneath The Coffin Club. This is a club for the immortal but Raven finds herself fitting in here more than anywhere else. The club however is in danger of having its members identities revealed to the mortals walking up above. Some of the vampires are for it and some against. Of course we have Jagger Maxwell leading those that want to expose who they are to the humans, and the one leading those who oppose this is the mysterious Phoenix. Raven is drawn to him but can't explain why. Things seem to be going well until Jagger outs Raven for being mortal. I love everyone of these books. They teach you how to love who you are and that if you accept those who are different they will accept you as well. I definitely recommend picking these books up if you have the chance.
