Miss Mable's School for Girls Review

Overview: Never underestimate the power of a determined witch.

Letum Wood is a forest of fog and deadfall, home to the quietly famous Miss Mabel’s School for Girls, a place where young witches learn the art of magic.

Sixteen-year-old Bianca Monroe has inherited a deadly curse. Determined to break free before it kills her, she enrolls in the respected school to confront the cunning witch who cast the curse: Miss Mabel.

Bianca finds herself faced with dark magic she didn’t expect, with lessons more dangerous than she could have ever imagined. Will Bianca have the courage to save herself from the curse, or will Miss Mabel’s sinister plan be too powerful?

My Thoughts: I got this book from the publisher on Netgalley for an honest review. When I got this book I was really excited. Who doesn't love a book about witches!? I haven't read to many books about witches since Harry Potter and this one sounded very interesting. I loved Bianca and I felt for her. Trying so hard to get into the school of the person that cast a curse on your family. I was pleasantly surprised that there was no love interest in this book. It seems that in every YA book you read nowadays there is a love triangle or some hinting at a relationship between two people. This has none of that. Just one very determined girl and the two friends she's managed to make while attending the school. I'm so exited to see where this series goes. Bianca doesn't have long and if Miss Mabel doesn't lift the curse she'll die. Miss Mabel is one of those characters you would just love to punch right in the face. The things she does to Bianca are horrible, and the things she's going to make Bianca do are even worse. You want to pick this book up!
